The Flight for Life Lottery Team at Essex Air Ambulance is delighted to announce that Janet Foster from Benfleet in Essex has won £15,674 in the Superdraw!

Mrs Foster was invited to the Essex Air Ambulance Airbase at Earls Colne to meet the Air Crew and see the helicopter up close and of course be presented with her cheque!

Janet joined the Flight for Life Lottery in May 2011 after receiving a visit from one of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance canvassers, who currently go door-to-door to promote the Lottery and gain new members. Speaking about her win, she said: “I was overwhelmed when I realized just how much I had won. I have no worries about shopping for Christmas presents now! I have 8 grandchildren and plan to get a gift for all of them. The win has made me feel uplifted; I am a keen supporter of the Air Ambulance as it provides such a great service to the County and you never know when you or a loved one might need it.”

Stevenage Resident Scoops Superdraw Jackpot!

The Flight for Life Lottery Team at Herts Air Ambulance is delighted to announce that Katherine Williams from Stevenage in Hertfordshire has won £16,294.60 in the Superdraw!

Ms Williams, 48 was invited to the Herts Air Ambulance Airbase at North Weald to meet the Air Crew and see the helicopter up close and of course be presented with her cheque!

Katherine joined the Flight for Life Lottery in April 2010 after receiving a visit from one of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance canvassers, who currently go door-to-door to promote the lottery and gain new members. Speaking about her win, she said: “I was ecstatic when I got the news that I had won the jackpot. I intend to spend some of my winnings on a trip of a lifetime to China to walk The Great Wall, see the Forbidden City, plus visit the Terracotta Army and see some panda’s too! I am a retired nurse and in my job I used to treat patients conveyed to hospital by the Air Ambulance who had sustained serious injuries and some of which would not be here if it wasn’t for this vital service. Therefore, I know how essential it is to support this very worthy cause.”

Buntingford Resident Scoops Superdraw Jackpot!

The Flight for Life Lottery Team at Herts Air Ambulance is delighted to announce that Patricia Beisser from Buntingford in Hertfordshire has won £19,773.45 in the Superdraw!

Mr and Mrs Beisser were invited to the Herts Air Ambulance Airbase at North Weald to meet the Air Crew and see the helicopter up close and of course be presented with their cheque!

Patricia Beisser said: “When I got the phone call to say I had won I was in shock, I couldn’t believe it! We plan to spend our winnings on doing up the house and building a patio in the garden. The Air Ambulance is such a worthy cause and one which is close to my heart as previously I was involved in an incident where we almost needed to use the helicopter.”

Local Grays Man’s Surprise Win on Air Ambulance Lottery!

The Flight for Life Lottery Team at Essex Air Ambulance is delighted to announce that a lucky winner from Grays in Essex has won £3,644 in the Superdraw!

Our lucky winner Mr Terry Spencer said, “I was surprised to hear that I had won £3,644 in the Essex Air Ambulance Flight for Life Lottery! I started supporting the Charity when one of the Air Ambulance Lottery Canvassers came to my door and I was happy to sign up and support such a worthy cause. We plan to use some of our winnings on treating our son to a holiday, and I have already donated £100 back to the Charity.

My wife and I are keen supporters of Essex Air Ambulance which provides a fantastic service and I urge other people to become supporters as it relies solely on public donations to keep flying.”
